YOU MAY NOT EXPECT…

Foot and hand care therapy has a long history in manual therapy, dating back centuries. However, in the 20th century, it underwent a scientific revival when a doctor specializing in ear, nose, and throat medicine discovered that pressing the fingers with metal fields and using elastic bands to surround the middle section of each finger produced an analgesic effect on the facial area. He called this “zonal analgesia,” which enabled him to perform simple surgical procedures without anesthesia. Many subsequent studies and research have been conducted on zonal therapy, demonstrating that each part and function of the body is represented by a reflex point on the extremities, face, ears, nose, and back. This partly explains the benefits of suction cup/Hijamah therapy. Plantar reflexology is a manual therapy that focuses on reflex areas of the foot containing clusters of ultrasensitive nerve endings. It effectively relieves symptoms and treats functional disorders as a complementary discipline in treatment. Our advice pertains to Western reflexology and relies on physiological data of a scientific nature only.

Have you heard of grounding?

Reflexology walking biological grounding is an excellent way to improve your health easily.

Free radical stress from exposure to pollution, cigarettes, pesticides, processed foods and electromagnetic radiation, just to name a few, continually deplete your body of electrons. The Earth, however is always electron-rich and can serve as a powerful and abundant supply of antioxidant free radical-busting electrons, provided you make an effort to stay grounded. Without a proper supply of antioxidants, the free radicals can overwhelm your system leading to oxidative stress, Inflammation and accelerated aging […] It’s not unusual for Americans to spend entire days without being grounded. But though it has become the norm, it’s completely unnatural, and didn’t really become widespread until the advent of shoes with artificial soles that prevent grounding. When you’re grounded, free electrons from the Earth are transferred into your body, and these free electrons are among the most potent antioxidants known to man. (1)

Grounding provides a means to cultivate the soul and embrace simplicity and reality, while also serving as a therapeutic tool for the body. Recent scientific research has shed light on the many advantages of grounding, including the following:

  • Improving the quality of sleep and feelings of restfulness upon waking,
  • Reducing muscle stiffness and soreness,
  • Normalizing the secretion of the stress hormone cortisol, reducing stress, and balancing your autonomic nervous system by stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system,
  • Reducing the severity of the inflammatory response after intense workouts,
  • Raising your heart rate variability,
  • Speeding up wound healing, and improving mood.
  • Reduce inflammation (2)

ESSENTIAL AND NOT ALTERNATIVE

Aromatherapy is a valuable treasure of natural medicine that has been used for a long time with incredible results. While we have always believed in the power of natural remedies, it was surprising to realize that some potent drugs, such as essential oils, had already been discovered, studied, and experienced with great success.
What is truly disconcerting is that essential oils are less widely known and recognized than they deserve. It is puzzling that a medical truth and its related studies remain primarily silent in several scientific books at a time when our healthcare system should be promoting and integrating it as a regulated medical practice.

But is synthetic chemistry better?

While synthetic chemistry has captivated scientists for a century, it is important to remember that advancements in health have been driven more significantly by improvements in hygiene conditions and the alleviation of strenuous labor and surgery.”(1)

“Due to the large number of active components in essential oils, it is not accurate to classify them as alternative medicine. Instead, it should be regarded as a complementary treatment to allopathy, playing an essential role in integrative medicine for prevention, care, and recovery.”(2)

Aromatherapy is a branch of herbal medicine and part of allopathy. Aromatherapy is a branch of herbal medicine and part of allopathy. Essential oils, which are extracts of highly volatile aromatic plants, do not contain fatty components and contribute significantly to medical treatment. Each essential oil is a concentrated complex of 50 to 300 biochemically defined substances whose pharmacological activity requires thorough knowledge and sufficient control for practical use to avoid possible toxic effects.
Essential oils have several properties: antibiotic, antiviral, antimycotic, antiparasitic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antidepressant, anxiolytic, skin healing and regenerating, blood and lymphatic circulation regulators, and more. They can significantly help in severe conditions and provide immediate therapeutic effects.

PHYTOTHERAPY: NATURAL?

We have an image on our homepage showcasing plants surrounded by chemical formulas titled“Explore exceptional biochemical complexes.” Our web manager, who was responsible for its integration, shared their feedback:

“The image looks good, but it may not appeal to those seeking natural remedies as it has a chemical aspect.” We were glad to see that our intended effect was achieved as we wanted to convey that natural and chemical concepts are not contradictory. It is important to note that the words “chemical” or “chemistry” are inherently natural and exist in nature.

Chemistry is a natural science that studies compounds in matter, their properties, and behavior under different circumstances. It is worth considering that humans cannot imagine or fabricate anything from nothing.
What you might perceive as opposite to nature is actually “synthetic,” not chemical. There are natural chemical substances and synthetic chemical substances that are often directly extracted from nature or mimic natural molecules through hemisynthesis.
What characterizes herbal or plant medicine is the abundance of natural treatments it offers. It is a valuable source of biochemical substances that has inspired scientists for years. Its efficacy is evidenced by the fact that 40% of Vidal’s drugs are plant extracts, while the rest are either copies through hemisynthesis or new molecules inspired by the study of natural biochemicals.
  • Through synergy and extraction,
  • In vivo and in vitro environments
For instance, did you know that the molecule most discussed during the 2020 pandemic, “Covid-19,” was developed from quinine isolated in 1820 from the bark of the Cinchona Officinalis tree? This tree had long been used for extractive chemistry against malaria.
According to Dr. Jean Valnet, a surgeon and plant specialist, “All doctors, like Mr. Jourdain, do herbal medicine without knowing it.” Contrary to the belief that plants can only act in prevention or long-term treatments, they can also work rapidly in many situations, sometimes even immediately.

ORTHOMOLECULAR MEANS?

Orthomolecular medicine refers to the use of biologically correct molecules that are not foreign to the body. It utilizes cellular micronutrition to prevent and cure diseases. Micronutrients, such as vitamins, minerals/trace elements, fatty acids, and amino acids, promote optimal cell functioning, membrane repair, and protection against cellular attacks. Supplementation with these micronutrients, combined with a healthy and balanced diet, may help prevent and control a range of diseases, especially those caused by deficiencies.

> Why is a diet alone not enough?

As discussed in our article “Food is Your Fuel,” food choice impacts the entire body, affecting health maintenance and disease recovery. However, modifying your diet alone may not be enough to achieve complete therapeutic outcomes. Several factors contribute to this, including:

  • Overexploitation of natural resources and environmental pollution, which has led to soil infertility and contaminated water and nutrients.
  • Foods from various soils worldwide are now deficient in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Moreover, they are often infested with pesticides and carcinogens that can negatively impact human health.(1)
  • Some deficiencies are severe enough to require high doses of nutrient extracts in addition to a balanced diet to strengthen the effect of orthomolecular medicine’s biochemical synergy.
  • These molecules should not be perceived solely as dietary supplements, but as medication when administered at specific doses.(2)
The vast majority of the molecules that enzymes act on or that influence enzyme activity come from food, making it a top priority. Two ways to achieve this are through micronutrition and macronutrition. Macro nutrition can prevent or cure many traditionally incurable diseases in a large proportion of cases. In my experience, it is the most effective method for preventing and treating 91 conditions.(3)

YOUR BODY’S FUEL

Food is the fundamental source of energy for all physiological processes within the human body, allowing it to sustain life, prevent disease, and promote healing. The term “fuel” is not used metaphorically, as our patients and many others have experienced firsthand how the foods we consume impact bodily mechanisms and health in a variety of ways.
  • Did you know that targeted diets focused on cellular respiration can significantly alter metabolism? Or that the food substances we consume directly impact our intestinal mucosa, comprising nearly 70% of our immunity, and influencing the brain and mood daily through a vast network of neurons?
  • Imagine that harmful substances altering our intestinal mucosa and penetrating our general circulation could lead to depression, obesity, insulin resistance, hormonal disorders, and autoimmune diseases by attacking other organs and activating unfavorable genes.

In my view, the small intestine plays a critical role in protecting the human body’s internal environment from dangerous environmental factors, such as bacteria and harmful foods. Unfortunately, many individuals experience a breakdown in the intestinal barrier, allowing the infiltration of harmful macromolecules. When certain substances accumulate, often with favorable inheritance factors, this can lead to a range of diseases.1

Now that we have established the primary role of a healthy diet as fuel for the human organism and protection from alteration, it is crucial to understand that food substances can also act as effective medication due to the synergy of their components. For instance, while high doses of synthesized antiscorbutic Vitamin C have never been effective in curing scurvy, specific fruits and vegetables, such as cabbage and lemon, have been successful in treating the disease. Research has revealed that these foods contain not only one molecule of vitamin C but also a second vitamin, known as C2, which is necessary to activate the first. Thus, the therapeutic effect of food in the interaction of their biochemicals can sometimes be more effective than extracted or isolated molecules.
