E-Messaging Monitoring:

Our monitoring services are reserved for individuals with severe illnesses requiring close and continuous monitoring or for other specific cases requiring periodic health tracking. Through monitoring forms or daily monitoring, we provide personalized support according to each patient’s needs.

WHAT IS E-MONITORING?

In functional Medicine

In our practice, we have introduced e-messaging monitoring as a complementary service exclusively available to patients who have already completed an ‘Initial FM consultation’ or ‘Swift consultation’ in specific circumstances. Through our secure messaging app and forms, patients are monitored by the therapist and receive targeted guidance through prompt and concise comments. It’s worth noting that unlike live chat or video conferencing therapy, which involves real-time communication, written messaging monitoring is conducted asynchronously.

When is it indicated?

Our E-messaging monitoring service is not recommended for every patient, but only in specific situations where it can be most effective. These situations may include:
  • Need for support: For example, patients who are not familiar with functional medicine and need guidance to avoid misunderstandings or difficulties in applying their treatment plan.
  • Daily Monitoring: Patients with severe illnesses, such as Type 2 diabetes, who require daily monitoring of their blood glucose levels along with drug withdrawal, or patients who have an acute disease that necessitates special attention and monitoring over time.
This service may provide a valuable resource to these patients, enabling them to receive support and guidance from their therapist as they navigate the challenges of their condition.

How does it work?

Monitoring Form:

We propose Monitoring Forms to patients who may need additional guidance in understanding functional medicine and correctly implementing their treatment plan. These forms include:
  • Targeted questions specifically designed to gather crucial information about the patient’s condition and treatment plan.
  • A designated space at the end of the form for patients to submit concise inquiries or comments about their health.
After the therapist reviews the Monitoring Forms, the patient receives personalized feedback and guidance to help them adhere to their treatment plan. The therapist also advises the patient on the recommended frequency of written check-ups, aiming to promote patient autonomy and reduce the need for ongoing assistance over time.

Daily Monitoring:

Daily messaging monitoring is an intensive support system for patients with severe illnesses.
  • For example, patients are asked to send daily photos of their glucometer or blood pressure readings to their therapist via Telegram App, allowing for real-time monitoring of their condition.
  • Unlike the “Quick Check-up,” the daily monitoring is not limited to comments but can include brief exchanges between the patient and the therapist when necessary.
This level of support is critical for patients who require close surveillance and timely intervention.
